About Draupadi, the most beautiful character of Mahabharata, who despite having five husbands, she performed her husbandly religion very well.
We all know about the story of Mahabharata. Everyone also knows that the war of Mahabharata started due to the insult of Draupadi by the Kauravas in the gathering, but do you know who Draupadi was after all? Why did he have to marry 5 Pandavas? Let us tell you the story behind this... But before that let us know how Draupadi was born?
Draupadi was born from Havankund
According to the epic Mahabharata, after being defeated by the Pandavas due to Dronacharya, King Drupada was very worried. That's why he reached the city named Kalmashi in the desire of the son who killed Dronacharya. While there, he found two Brahmins Yaj and Upayaj, who performed a havan for him to get a son. A divine Kumar appeared from that Agrikund. However, Kumari Panchali was also born from the same fire pit, who was as soft as a lotus petal.
Draupadi was blessed with 5 husbands
Actually, Draupadi was a virtuous daughter of a sage in her previous birth, but due to her deeds no one accepted her as a wife. Saddened by this, she started doing penance to Lord Shiva, pleased with which the Lord asked her to ask for the desired boon. On this, Draupadi repeatedly wanted a husband with all qualities. Then Lord Shankar said that you have prayed to me five times to get the desired husband, so you will get 5 husbands in your second birth
Draupadi became the wife of 5 Pandavas by the words of mother Kunti, got the name Panchali:
King Drupada organized a Swayamvara Sabha for the marriage of his daughter Draupadi. Arjuna fulfilled the conditions given in Swayamvara and thus Draupadi was married to Arjuna.
At that time, the Pandavas used to disguise themselves as Brahmins to hide their identity with their mother Kunti and feed themselves by begging. Whatever the Pandavas got by begging throughout the day, they used to bring it in front of their mother Kunti, which Kunti used to distribute equally among all. That day, when Arjun came home with Draupadi, he told his mother from the door itself that look mother, what we have brought for you today.
Being busy in some work, Kunti said without looking that whatever the five brothers have brought, distribute it equally. When Kunti saw Draupadi, she was surprised. He told his son Dharmaraj Yudhishthir to find such a solution that Draupadi too would not face any disaster and the words that came out of my mouth should not be false. However, even Yudhishthira could not solve it.
Draupadi was the favorite of the five Pandavas:
According to the Mahabharata, Draupadi was a very intelligent woman besides being beautiful. Draupadi always performed the duty of a wife whenever the Pandavas were weak or hesitated to take a decision. She knew very well when, how much and where to speak. At the same time, she knew how to show respect to her husbands, that's why she was the favorite of all the five Pandavas.
According to Draupadi every woman should know these 4 things
Women should never keep their thinking small, otherwise there will be no blessings in the house. He should always treat both the family members equally. Even if someone is wrong, he should not change his behavior, rather he should be explained with love.
A sensible woman should always keep distance from bad women. A woman of character should stay away not only from bad men but also from bad women.
According to Draupadi, a woman's husband should be her everything. They always walk in step with their husbands. Because after marriage, a woman's husband is her everything. Women should respect their husbands.
A woman should never share with any outsider about the high-low or any other kind of fights happening in her house. This will reveal the secrets of the house to others and enemies can take advantage of it.
