Start your day with balanced breakfast and try to avoid sugary cereals, and too much caffeine. Also, consume stress relief fruits like orange, grapefruit or any other citrus fruits.
Stress can also increase your cortisol levels, to manage it eat foods that reduce cortisol like dark chocolate, peas and bananas, probiotics in food such as yogurt etc, and drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration or chamomile tea to relieve stress levels.
When you are chronically stressed, the demand for protein increases in the body, so include protein rich foods in your diet such as eggs, chicken, lentils, nuts, beans, etc. Do not skip meals and have healthy snacks, perfect anti-stress food, it will maintain your energy levels and mood. Try to completely cut off the refined foods, packaged processed foods and sugary foods from your diet. When you are in a stressed state try not to reach for food as it can cause digestive issues.
