Newcastle reached the Champions League after 20 years

 


In English Premier League football, Newcastle have qualified for the Champions League after playing a goalless draw with Leicester. With this one point, the club's stay in the top four teams is assured. The team has to play with Chelsea on Sunday. Leicester, on the other hand, need a win at home against West Ham to avoid relegation to the second tier league. Newcastle dominated Leicester in the match at James Park. Good tries from Calum Wilson, Miguel Elmiran and Bruno, as well as several good saves from goalkeeper Daniel Iversen.

 The last time Newcastle played in Europe's top club competition, the Champions League, was in 2003.
