Roman Reigns, a professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). Born on May 25, 1985, as Leati Joseph Anoa'i, Roman Reigns comes from a prominent wrestling family, known as the Anoa'i family.
Roman Reigns made his WWE main roster debut in 2012 as a member of The Shield, a popular faction alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. The group quickly gained attention and achieved significant success in WWE. After The Shield disbanded, Reigns embarked on a singles career and became one of WWE's top stars.
Reigns has won multiple championships during his career, including the WWE Universal Championship, WWE Championship, and Intercontinental Championship. He has headlined several WrestleMania events and has been a dominant figure in WWE for many years.
In 2020, Roman Reigns underwent a character transformation, adopting a villainous persona known as "The Tribal Chief." This new character change revitalized his career and gained critical acclaim. He aligned himself with Paul Heyman as his special counsel and became the Universal Champion, establishing a dominant reign.
Please note that my knowledge is up to September 2021, so there may have been developments or events involving Roman Reigns in WWE since then. It's always a good idea to check reliable sources or WWE's official website for the latest updates on his career.
Roman Reigns wasted no time in becoming a major star after returning in 2020. After winning the WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has been booked as the ultimate heel in the company. That being said, it appears that WWE plans on turning him into a superhero babyface in the end.
The Tribal Chief remains the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and there is no end in sight as far as his dominant reign is concerned. Reigns has demolished everyone who has come before him so far.
However, The Bloodline has been crumbling over the past few months. It reached a boiling point at WWE Night Of Champions when Jimmy Uso betrayed The Tribal Chief after hitting him with two superkicks back to back.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that there are a lot of twists and turns set to happen in The Bloodline storyline. It would eventually see Roman Reigns becoming a superhero babyface in the end.
This week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown will see a celebration of Roman Reigns, who recently crossed 1000 days as WWE Universal Champion. He is also likely to get a new title during the episode. Regardless, we’ll have to see when Reigns will be turned into a babyface.
